What a totally unexpected and delightful gift! I work in a PK-8 public school as library staff and came into work everyday during Covid to get books, computers, and lunches into students’ hands. It was a blast! And then to receive such a sweet gift was just amazing. I immediately went out and bought dozens of flowering perennials for my garden so that I’ll be reminded of this kindness year after year.

Bartending and serving at the same time can be tiresome. I’m very critical on myself as well as my service and I was beating my self up because the gentleman who gave me the $100 was wearing a black suit and I didn’t immediately give him a black linen. Small I know but that’s where my head was that day.

What a pleasant surprise (after he already tipped my 30 on 70) when he reached over the bar and handed me a crisp $100 bill with a card stapled to it!
